Cobus Groenewoud was appointed regional commercial director of G4S Africa in 2021. Prior to this he was the regional finance director for G4S Africa from 2016 to 2021. He served at MultiChoice Africa, which was at the time part of Naspers, as commercial director from 2012 to 2016 and as chief financial officer from 2002 to 2012. He is a qualified chartered accountant (SA) with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing degree and Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Investment Management and Finance from the University of Johannesburg.
