Devrani Moonsamy has been the head of finance at the Ombud Council since October 2023, following seven years as the head of finance at the Competition Tribunal of South Africa. Before that, she also served as the head of finance for the Competition Commission of South Africa.
In 2013, Devrani briefly served as a financial consultant at Deloitte after being the financial management consultant and CFO at Boxing South Africa for two years.
She started her career at the Auditor-General of South Africa, and is a qualified chartered accountant (CA) with a BCom degree in accounting and finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Its objective is to assist financial customers to have access to affordable, effective, independent and fair alternative dispute resolution when they have complaints about financial institutions. This includes complaints that relate to financial products, financial services and services provided by market infrastructures such as exchanges.
