Grant Robinson joined Peermont in October 2004 and was appointed to the Board of Directors as Group Financial Director in June 2006. He has been involved in the execution of a number of strategic initiatives since joining the Group including the acquisition of the South African interests of Caesars South Africa Inc. in March 2005, the acquisition the Tusk Group announced in December 2005 and the US$1 billion buyout and the delisting and reorganisation of Peermont in April 2007. He no longer works for Peermont. From 1997 to 2004, Grant was a Partner and Director at KPMG. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accounting Degrees from the University of Witwatersrand and is registered with South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
