Ignatius Hagglund is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds Higher Diplomas in Taxation and International Taxation. After completing his articles at PwC, he joined the Sanlam group in 2007 as an Investment Principal and thereafter worked in Corporate Finance where he gained experience in valuations and transaction structuring. He was appointed head of Finance of Glacier in August 2011. His key responsibilities at Glacier are to lead the finance team and to work closely with the different departments as well as various business units within the Sanlam Group, in developing and implementing the business strategy.
