Jurgen Paulis joined Africa Improved Foods (AIF) in 2017 as its CFO. Prior to that, he had a long career at AKZO, which later became part of DSM. He started as a business economics at AKZO Engineering Plastics and served as an assistant controller within the AKZO company for several more years. In 1992 he joined DSM Stanyl & SMA as a product controller before ultimately returning to DSM Engineering Plastics's (which had bought the AKZO operations) VP of finance in America. He held various business unit controller and directorship roles in the DSM group before his most recent role as the company's VP and CFO of North America.
