Kenroy Dowers was appointed the acting Chief Financial Officer of Atlas Mara in October 2017 and he stepped down in 2019. He is currently the Company's Group MD and Head of Strategy. He previously headed the IFC’s Financial Markets Global Retail unit, overseeing investments in capital markets, insurance and agrifinance. He also spearheaded the IFC’s expansion into housing finance, distressed assets and insurance, and managed the its global client relationships with banks including Citibank, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan. Kenroy has 15 years of financial services experience, including senior positions at Inter-American Development Bank and Freddie Mac prior to joining the IFC. He has a PhD in Finance from the State University of New York.
