Lila Nopasika

Interview: Nopasika Lila's Road to Success. 

Nopasika Lila was raised in the Eastern Cape where she completed a B.Compt degree at the Walter Sisulu University. She joined Old Mutual to fulfil her interest in the asset management industry. She later moved to the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) where she served as the Head of Compliance and Corporate Governance. She ventured into entrepreneurship when she established Astute Intellect, a financial and governance consultancy. She then joined the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) as CFO.  In August 2019 she was appointed as group financial director of Barloworld. Her vast experience and areas of interest cover finances, corporate governance, management, retirement industry, strategies and training development. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano and can speak, read and write Chinese Mandarin and German. She is a CA (SA).

Nopasika serves as an independent non-executive Director of JSE-listed company enX Group Limited and chairs its Audit Committee. She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Nampak Limited and chairs its Risk and Sustainability Committee.
