Luke has worked for the FirstRand Group for over 15 years in various roles, 10 of which have been at a CFO level. During his tenure with the FirstRand Group, he worked in the FNB Home Loans division where he was integrally involved in the credit and collections processes following the 2008 global financial crisis. He was also the CFO of FNB Tanzania, following which he was transferred to FirstRand India, also in his capacity as CFO.
In 2018, Luke was appointed the CFO of FNB Botswana (FNBB). His banking experience covers areas of accounting, finance, credit, risk, and strategy. He was appointed to the FNBB Board of Directors in 2022. He is the chairperson of the Board of FNB Insurance Brokers (Botswana).
He is a CA(SA) and FCMA and has completed the Accelerated Development Program through the Wharton Business School in 2015.
