Marthinus Prinsloo was appointed Financial Director of Royal Bafokeng Platinum in March 2009 and resigned in October 2018. Before joining RBPlat, Marthinus acted as CFO at Anglo American Platinum and was a member of the Executive Committee. He spent 10 years of his career in investment banking including being appointed to BoE Merchant Bank as Director of Specialised Finance, where he headed up the project finance division. He was also a Director of World Platinum Investment Council Ltd. He served his accounting articles at KPMG auditors. Marthinus is the Co-founder of Fledge Capital. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Com Hons in Accounting from the University of Pretoria.
