Michelle Pienaar graduated from UNISA with a BCompt Honours in 1999. Her first job was as an article clerk for BDO Spencer Steward. In 2001 she became the Group Finance Manager at Alexander Forbes. She moved through the ranks until Marsh came calling in January 2012. Michelle left Alexander Forbes and took up a new post as Africa Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Marsh. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2013.
