Nick Hanekom completed his articles with PwC in Johannesburg and then joined PwC London. On his return to South Africa in August 2005 he was employed by Resilient, initially as Company Secretary and then as Financial Director in May 2011. Nick was previously the Financial Director of Fortress Income Fund Limited. He is a CA (SA) and he has a B.Acc Honours degree. In March 2020 he was appointed COO of Resilient.

About Resilient Property Income Fund: Resilient is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) which has been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since December 2002. It owns a portfolio of dominant regional malls and shopping centres tenanted predominantly by national retailers. Most of Resilient’s properties are situated in non-metropolitan areas. In addition, Resilient owns a portfolio of listed property securities. The holding in listed securities is gradually being reduced to finance new developments and extensions to existing properties. Resilient is internally asset managed with property management being outsourced to independent property management companies.
