Peter Kimingi has been the group head of finance of Afrika Tikkun since February 2024. He is also a consulting manager at Breakthrough Financial & Business Solutions, a role he’s held since 2011. Prior to his current role, Peter was the CFO of African Leadership Academy and the National Education Collaboration Trust, respectively. Before this, he was a finance manager at the Southern African Regional Universities Association for a year, and a financial consultant at Nkonki COnsulting for two years before that. He was an assistant financial controller for the International Quality & Productivity Centre for a year and a group chief accountant for Consumer Insight Africa for three years. He started his career as an accountant at McCann Erickson.
He has a BCom Accounting from the University of Nairobi and an MBA in business administration from the University of Witwatersrand.
