Refilwe Nkabinde was appointed Finance Director of Vodacom South Africa in November 2021. She has extensive experience in financial management, which were a key factor in her appointment as Chief Financial Officer of Business Connexion in February 2016. Her diligence and financial savvy has seen her rise through the ranks at Brandhouse Beverages, where she started out as Financial Controller and completed her tenure as Finance and Strategy Director. Before this she held a number of senior finance roles within Business Connexion and Standard Bank, where she was able to develop her expertise in both the Finance and IT worlds. She has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of ELB Group Limited since 24 November 2017 and a Director of Business Connexion Group Limited. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) and Commercial Accounting from Technikon Witwatersrand. She received the Business Connexion Aspire award for 2012 and was a top 5 finalist for the 2017 Standard Bank Rising Star Award, for the Information and Communications Technology sector.
