Richard Lawson has been the CFO of De Beers Group since October 2023. He joined De Beers in 2017 as the group financial controller and was appointed as director of group finance in 2020.
Prior to joining De Beers, Richard was the head of finance and business planning at Anglo American after running the Thermal Coal business in South Africa’s finance department as financial controller, where he supported the transformation of the business prior to its demerger.
