Sandiso Gcwabe has been the CFO of Wesgro since the start of 2023.
He also serves as the deputy chairperson of the Public Sector Committee for SAICA’s Southern region, and a member on the board of trustees at Khayelitsha Youth & Community Centre (KYCC).
Prior to joining Wesgro, Sandiso was the CFO at the Western Cape Liquor Authority after serving as financial manager of Saldanha Bay Municipality for three years.
He started his career as a trainee auditor at the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) in 2010 and worked his way up to audit supervisor and assistant audit manager.
Sandiso has a CTA and BAccSc honours degree from the University of South Africa, as well as BCom degree in accounting from the University of Cape Town.
Sandiso has been nominated for the 2024 CFO Awards for his work as the CFO of Wesgro.
