Zakariya Alli has been the CFO of the Finance and Accounting Services Seta (Fasset) since November 2019. He joined Fasset from the National Skills Fun, where he was FD for two years and acting CFO for one.
Before this, he worked at the Auditor-General of South Africa in various audit roles. He started his career at Nexia SAB&T as an external auditor.
Zakariya is a qualified chartered accountant with a BAcc Sc degree from the University of South Africa.
For his work as the CFO of Fasset, Zakariya has been nominated for the 2024 CFO Awards.
