Zunaid Bulbulia has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He started his career as a trainee at Arthur Andersen & Co. He joined MTN in 1995 and served with the group for more than 20 years in various finance and management roles, including CEO and chief operations executive. In 2016 he joined Huge Group as a non-executive director of their telecommunications division, Huge Telecom and in 2017 as their CFO. In 2019 he became the chief financial and commercial officer at Mobile Outsourcing Solutions, a division of the Morvest Group. He is also an advisory board member for Kirusa and FNB Islamic Bank, as well as an adjunct professor at the Wits Business School and an independent consultant in the telecommunications industry.
