Altron CEO joins CFO Awards judging panel

Altron's Mteto Nyati says he'll be looking for a demonstrable partnership between finance and business.

The prestigious CFO Awards, the Oscars of the finance industry, adds another big name to its leadership-studded judging panel in the form of Mteto Nyati, group chief executive of Altron.
 
Mteto says that joining the panel will give him the opportunity to benchmark talent and expose himself to current thinking within the finance leadership space.
 
When asked what characteristics and attributes he’ll be looking for in nominees, he says:

“I will be looking for demonstrable partnership between the finance function and business. And I will be looking for ways the CFO is holding her or himself and others accountable for business results.”

The judges for the CFO Awards are extremely experienced in the field of business and finance and are highly regarded by the CFO community. The panel consist of industry leaders working for South Africa's leading universities, banks, advisory, IT and law firms, as well as former CFO Awards winners.
