Avashnee Ramdial appointed CFO at Access Bank

Avashnee steps into a new role

2023 CFO Awards nominee Avashnee Ramdial, a chartered accountant with over 25 years of experience has been appointed as CFO of Access Bank. 

Prior to her appointment to the full-service commercial bank with a presence in Nigeria, sub-Saharan Africa, the United Kingdom, Dubai, China, Lebanon, and India, she served as the CFO of the South African asset manager, Stanlib. 

Her career began at Deloitte South Africa as a senior audit manager, where she remained for 10 years. She then joined Standard Bank as a senior manager and after almost five years got promoted to finance director. This was followed by her appointment as CFO of Wealth and Investment Management at Absa, a position she's held for more than three years before joining Stanlib. 

She holds a chartered accountancy degree with a BCom in accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
