Bongiwe Ntuli nominated for 2021 CFO Awards

Bongiwe has been nominated for her work as the CFO of TFG.

Bongiwe Ntuli has been nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards for the work she has done as the CFO of TFG (The Foschini Group).

At the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its seventh year, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.

A chartered accountant, Bongiwe has worked in freight, logistics, and the mining and financial-services sectors both locally and internationally.

She began her career shortly after completing her articles at the age of 21, holding various positions in finance, treasury and risk management at Anglo American, including subsidiaries in Europe, Canada and the UK.

Prior to taking up the mantle of CFO of TFG in September 2018, she had the challenging task as CEO of Freight Services at Grindrod, and Grindrod group executive board member.

She currently sits on a number of external TFG boards and is the independent audit chairperson and non-executive director of South African software company AdaptIT. She is also chairperson of Caprisa, a non-profit S21 HIV/tuberculosis research company.
