Cell C CFO Lerato Pule resigns

After a year in the role, Cell C CFO Lerato Pule will be pursuing opportunities outside the telco.

Lerato Pule tendered her resignation as the CFO of Cell C on 14 August to pursue other opportunities. She will be leaving the group after delivering on current critical financial matters.

Lerato has been the telecommunications company’s CFO since 1 September 2022 following a recapitalisation as part of its turnaround strategy.

Lerato has over 16 years’ experience in financial and business management at an operational and strategic level in various organisations, including as chief of strategy, planning and change, and as chief of staff at BCX, and CFO of Telkom’s SME segment respectively.

She has also served as the head of the national sales contact centre and deputy head of the inland region for African Bank.

Before this, after two years as a performance and demand manager at BP, she was the CFO for Alexander Forbes.
