CFO Casper Troskie extends his term at Old Mutual

post-title

Old Mutual has announced that Casper Troskie has agreed to remain as chief financial officer until April 2027.

Casper was appointed as CFO of Old Mutual in March 2018 and was scheduled to retire in April 2024.

However, in November 2023, Old Mutual had begun expressing plans to extend his stay with the bank until 2025 due to key projects that Casper was still managing. These include his involvement in the building of Old Mutual’s new bank, OM, as well as to assist the firm with the new accounting standard changes.

As part of Casper's extended three-year contract with the bank, the shareholders have requested him to oversee at least one supplementary financial reporting cycle under the new IFRS 17 insurance accounting standard.
