Join SA's top finance execs at CFO Day on 17 July 2018

An unprecedented number of top CFOs will gather to discuss what it means to do the right thing.

CFOs are in a position to shape market sentiment, influence the beliefs of everyday people and alter the future of companies and countries. But what does it mean to do the right thing? Given the events of recent months, which threw companies like Steinhoff and KPMG, among others, into the spotlight, there is consensus from those in the finance profession that everybody needs to do better.

CFO Day will explore the increasingly relevant and hugely significant theme of doing the right thing, delving into the opinions of business leaders and tapping into the heads, hearts and souls of participants.

Among the speakers will be the CEOs of Alexander Forbes, Altron, BCX, PSG, Super Group, Thomson Reuters Africa, and TransUnion, while Workday global vice chair Phil Wilmington, Nando’s founder Robbie Brozin, GIBS prof Adrian Saville, and CFOs Tryphosa Ramano from PPC and Wayne Koonin from Omnia – both nominees at this year’s CFO Awards – will also share their thoughts on the theme.

The event has received excellent support from sponsors, which include Deloitte, Standard Bank, Ansarada, Thomson Reuters, and Workday. Attendees will also be treated to a delicious lunch from chef David Higgs of Marble Restaurant, during which they will have a chance to network with peers.
