"CFOs have responded really well to these initiatives with many offering to host and share insights and even more wanting a part of these experiences. We're encouraged by this and will continue to supplement our CFO Summits and dinners with more members-only immersions," he said.

Graham expressed his excitement at hosting the first members-only event of the year with award-winning Coca-Cola Bottling Africa CFO Walter Leonhardt.

"Our first CFO South Africa members' event of the year is focussed on the theme of continuous improvement, which I know is something every CFO is thinking about in these challenging economic times. Our members are going to have the opportunity to enjoy a roundtable discussion with CFO Award-winner Walter Leonhardt (CFO of Coca Cola Bottling Africa). During this roundtable discussion CFOs will have the chance to pick Walter's brain on his recipe for success around continuous improvement and then join him on a tour of the bottling plant which is one of the most sophisticated of its kind."

He was also enthusiastic about learning opportunities planned for later in the year.

"I believe these sorts of opportunities are invaluable for CFOs who want to stretch their minds, learn from the best and drive their organisations forward. Later in the year we will visit a one of kind programming school helping CFOs gain a new perspective on learning in the workplace. We may even help them meet a future employee as tech and programming skills become increasingly critical to business and finance!"
