Charity Simamane joins Moruo Life as CFO

Charity Simamane has joined Moruo Life as chief financial officer, bringing experience from PPS and PwC to the insurance business.

Charity Simamane has joined Moruo Life as chief financial officer, effective 1 April 2026.

She joins the insurance business after spending two years as executive group finance at PPS. Prior to that, she served as an associate director at PwC for almost two years.

Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, Charity said she was excited to be joining Moruo Life and contributing to the company’s journey in the insurance space.

Moruo Life is a brainchild of Sampada Private Equity, with the business focused on building a new offering in the insurance sector.

“The past two months have already stretched and grown me in the best ways possible.It’s been filled with learning, collaboration and purpose,” she said. 

She added that she was inspired by the people around her and energised by Moruo Life’s vision.

“I look forward to the journey ahead,” she said.
