Climate Fund Managers appoints Lindsey Ord as CFO

post-title

Lindsey was integral in the establishment of Climate Fund Managers and will now head up finance.

Lindsey Ord will be taking up the role as Climate Fund Managers’ (CFM) chief financial officer.

As Lindsey has already played an integral role in the establishment of CFM and Climate Investor One, it comes as no surprise that CFM appointed her to take control of its finances.

Lindsey has 20 years’ experience in private equity fund management, specifically in financial and risk management and end-to-end transaction design and implementation.

Prior to becoming CFO, Lindsey served as the head of Structuring and Finance and Head of Operations at CFM respectively. Before joining CFM, she served as interim chief operating officer for Capital Eye Investments, head of operations for African Infrastructure Investment Managers, finance business partner at Old Mutual Plc, and finance manager at OMIGSA and Catalyst Asset Management respectively.

She has a Masters degree in Business Leadership from UNISA and a B.Com degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Cape Town.

CFM is a joint venture between Sanlam InfraWorks and the Dutch Development Bank and invests in climate-related projects in emerging markets.
