Comair anticipates higher earnings per share

post-title

Comair has said that its earnings per share are expected to be between 49 and 68 percent higher for the year ending 30 June 2017, than those reported for the previous year.

Moreover, headline earnings per share are expected to be between 85 and 104 percent higher than those reported for the same period last year.

While the financial information on which the trading statement is based is yet to be reviewed by the company's external auditors, Comair has said the increases are due to a partial recovery of exchange losses incurred in the comparative period concerning the restatement of the dollar denominated aircraft loan, along with the non-recurring losses on oil hedges incurred in the comparative period.
