Comair reappoints Kirsten King as CFO following resignation of CEO

Comair has reappointed Kirsten King as its CFO and Wrenelle Stander has stepped down as CEO.

Comair has announced the reappointment of Kirsten King as its CFO as of 30 November 2020. Kirsten was set to resign in February 2020 in order to emigrate to the UK.

Kirsten is a qualified CA(SA). She was first introduced to Comair as the revenue accountant and was appointed FD in 2014.

According to her Comair profile, Kirsten has gained substantial exposure to the challenges facing the industry and has competently managed the accounting function within the group.
Prior to joining Comair, Kirsten started out as a trainee accountant at PKF and then became its audit manager.

The company has also announced that Wrenelle Stander has stepped down as its CEO, and that Glenn Orsmond will be taking over the role.
