Copper 360 announces Ferdinand Nel’s new duties as CFO

Ferdinand Nel, who has been deputy CFO at Copper 360 since April this year, will be taking up the CFO role.

Ferdinand Nel has been appointed as the director and CFO of Copper 360, while CFO Stephan du Plessis, has been appointed as the commercial director, both with immediate effect.

Ferdinand is a CA(SA) with over 20 years experience in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, call centre and service industries. He has been working in cross-functional roles at both listed companies and large private businesses.

He joined Copper 360 in June 2023 and worked as a group financial manager until April when he was promoted to the deputy CFO role.

In his new role as the permanent CFO, Ferdinand will have executive responsibility for financial reporting and management of budgeting, cash flow, taxation, procurement and inventory.

Ferdinand holds professional memberships with CIMA (ACMA (CGMA)) and SAICA (CA(SA)) and is also a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa, where he completed the JSE Alt X Directors Induction Programme in 2023.
