Daniel Zinman appointed Discovery Green CFO

Discovery Green has appointed renewable energy finance specialist Daniel Zinman as its new chief financial officer, bringing two decades of project finance experience across the sub-Saharan African power sector.

Discovery has announced the appointment of Daniel Zinman as chief financial officer of Discovery Green, its wholly owned renewable energy platform.

Prior to joining Discovery Green, he served as head of power, infrastructure sector solutions at Rand Merchant Bank. During his tenure, he worked on a range of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects across the region.

He also acted as a financial adviser on the Beitbridge Border Post Modernisation Project in Zimbabwe, one of the region’s notable public-private partnership infrastructure developments.

Earlier in his career, Daniel was a manager in the project finance team at Standard Bank, where he focused on opportunities in process industries, power, oil, and gas.
