Darrin will be stepping in as interim CFO following the resignation of CEO Damain Matroos.
Darrin Arendse has been appointed as interim CEO of Efora Energy with effect from 5 May. He will be taking over from Damain Matroos, who tendered his resignation in February.
Darrin has over 30 years’ experience at executive management and senior levels across a range of industries, including private, financial, retail, mining, public and state-owned commercial enterprises. He has been involved in the energy sector for the past 12 years.
Currently, he serves as the head of human resources and corporate services in Efora. He holds a BAdmin honours degree from the University of Western Cape and has completed various executive management and leadership development programmes in his career to date.
Efora Energy also recently appointed Thabang Monametsi as its new interim CFO.
