Enfin Energy Finance grows its leadership team with the newest hire.
Gerhard Malan has joined Enfin Energy Finance as CFO. He provides a plethora of knowledge and competence, having built a great track record as a qualified chartered accountant for over 15 years.
Gerhard is known for his dedication to excellence and innovation, coupled with insightful leadership. Enfin is a company that aims to improve the affordability of and access to electricity for South Africans by backing smart businesses, farms, sectional titles, and schools seeking cheaper, cleaner and more sustainable energy sources that are less reliant on unreliable power from the grid.
Gerhard served as FD of Rectron Holdings for 10 years. He started working at Rectron as the financial manager in 2006. Gerhard also served as a director of Rectron Holdings. After his time at Rectron, he became FD at Viadex Global. Gerhard was appointed group CFO of Sybrin in July 2021.
He graduated from the University of the North West in 2003 with a BCom (Hons) in accounting. After graduation, he went on to do three years of articles at Griesel Nel Inc. Gerhard is a registered chartered accountant with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has an extensive knowledge of the ICT Charter, with specific reference to enterprise development and corporate and social investment.
