Hansal International recently launched its expansion into South Africa, Ghana and Kenya, simultaneously announcing that it has appointed Jo-Ann Pohl (pictured) as the company’s Chairperson for Africa. Jo is currently a consultant at property investment fund, Texton, a role she took up in May this year.
Hansal is a UK-headquartered business that focuses on leadership transformation, senior level recruitment, individual & team learning and business transformation.
Jo-Ann said of her appointment:

Jo, a qualified CA(SA) and ACCA accredited, has held several senior positions over her career, including most recently as CFO of Telesure Investment Holdings. Prior to this, she was the CFO for Africa at Standard Chartered Bank. Additionally, she chairs the board of the Charities Aid Foundation Southern Africa, is a member of the 30% Club Southern Africa Steering Committee, and sits on the Sanari Capital Advisory Board.
