Lerato Pule is excited to be part of Liquid South Africa’s future success as CFO


Currently serving the remainder of her time as Cell C’s CFO, Lerato Pule is set to take up the CFO role at Liquid Intelligent Technologies’ South Africa operations in February 2024.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies has announced the appointment of Lerato Pule as the new CFO for its South Africa operations. She will step into the role on 1 February 2024.

“I am excited about joining Liquid South Africa’s dynamic team, leading its local finance department, and contributing to its future success,” she says.

“This is an excellent opportunity for me to join Liquid South Africa; the organisation is a leading player in the technology and telecommunications space in South Africa and Africa,” she explains, adding that Liquid is well-known in the industry for bringing African solutions to African challenges through its intelligent technology offerings and resilient connectivity.

Lerato resigned from her role as CFO of Cell C in August.

She has over 16 years of experience in financial and business management at an operational and strategic level in various organisations, including as chief of strategy, planning and change, and as chief of staff at BCX, and CFO of Telkom’s SME segment respectively.

She has also served as the head of the national sales contact centre and deputy head of the inland region for African Bank. Before this, after two years as a performance and demand manager at BP, she was the CFO for Alexander Forbes.

Lerato is also a qualified CA(SA) with a BCom honours in accounting.
