Lucas Ndala appointed new group CFO at Seacom

Former BCX and Openserve CFO Lucas Ndala will be the new group CFO helping Seacom through its transformative phase.

Seacom has announced the appointment of Lucas Ndala as its new group CFO, succeeding Richard Schumacher, who has been appointed chief wholesale and strategic alliances officer.

Lucas has over two decades of experience in the financial industry, having served in various executive roles within the Telkom Group, including CFO, COO, group executive for the GCEO support office, and board member of the Telkom Group division, Openserve. He also served as CFO at BCX and interim CEO of Postbank.

According to a statement by the ICT service provider, his extensive experience and strong academic background make Lucas “exceptionally well-suited to lead Seacom’s financial strategies with precision and innovation”.

The company further stated that these leadership changes are part of a transformative phase at Seacom.
