The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) has appointed seasoned finance executive Maureen Manyama as chief financial officer, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across state-owned entities, financial services and higher education.

The National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA) has appointed Maureen Manyama as its new chief financial officer, strengthening its executive leadership as the organisation advances South Africa’s transition to a competitive and liberalised electricity market.

Maureen brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across state-owned enterprises, financial services, listed companies and higher education.

Before joining NTCSA, she served as chief financial officer at the University of the Witwatersrand. She has also held senior executive positions at Airports Company South Africa, the South African Forestry Company, the Agricultural Research Council, Hollard Insurance and Postbank.

A chartered accountant (SA), Maureen also holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and has served as a non-executive director across several organisations.
