Megan moves into the chief financial officer position after serving as the group’s COO

2021 CFO Awards winner Megan Pydigadu will be stepping into the CFO role at Spar Group from March 2026.

She will be replacing Reeza Isaacs, who is taking on the CEO role.

"I’m looking forward to the challenge and working with the business to deliver improved operating returns for both our shareholders and retailers," said Megan.

Megan brings executive experience spanning operational and financial portfolios. She is currently COO at Spar Group and has held senior finance leadership positions across various companies and sectors, with expertise in financial management, governance and strategic execution.

Her previous roles include group finance director of EOH, CFO at MiX Telematic, and group financial controller at Bateman Engineering.

Megan qualified as a CA(SA) in 1999 after obtaining a higher diploma in accounting from the University of Witwatersrand and a B.Comm accounting degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

She started her career at Deloitte South Africa, where she did her articles for three years before becoming an audit manager.

Megan was nominated for the CFO Awards in both 2014 and 2015 for her work at Mix Telematics. She was also nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards for her work as the group FD of EOH, and walked away with the High-Performance Team Award.
