Mikaeel Tayob steps into regional CFO role at Bridgestone MEA

Mikaeel Tayob has been promoted to regional CFO at Bridgestone Middle East & Africa FZE, marking a significant milestone in his finance career.

Mikaeel steps into the role after serving as finance director for two years at Bridgestone South Africa from 2023 to 2025, following a prior two-year stint as finance business partner head at the global tyre and mobility solutions leader.

Before joining Bridgestone South Africa he worked at Nike for almost seven years, where he held various roles including the financial planning and analytics lead for Europe, Middle East and Africa East, and the financial governance and control lead.

He also worked at KPMG for almost five years, having started his journey there in 2010 as the audit associate.

Mikaeel holds a CIA designation, a certification in control self assessment, an MPhil degree in corporate strategy from GIBS Business School and a BCom Internal Auditing (Honours) degree from the University of Pretoria.
