Sandvik has appointed Nerissa Jalim as its new CFO to drive growth, profitability and sustainability at the engineering company.
Nerissa Jalim’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Sandvik. With her extensive experience in financial leadership, Nerissa is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the industry and steer the company towards even greater heights, she officially starts her new role on 1 July 2024.
She explains, “The key attraction to Sandvik was the culture of the organisation and their value proposition, ‘We make the shift, advancing the world through engineering.’ Both elements had strong links to innovation and sustainability, and their passion to win was contagious.”
As CFO, Nerissa plans to immerse herself in the organisation’s strategic pillars, identifying areas for improvement and implementing systematic approaches to close gaps and strengthen processes.
Balancing stakeholder needs and being inspirational
