Insightful perspectives on the customer are drawing CFOs, CHROs and CMOs to the Cape Town summit.

On 12 March, CFO South Africa will be hosting the Reimagining the Customer Summit in partnership with Deloitte at the Deloitte Greenhouse in Cape Town.

The event will be focusing on how the speed of digital change in business has changed the way we can know our customer. Getting to know the customer is no longer just the sales and marketing domain’s responsibility. It’s up to everyone across the business to get to know their customers.

Some leading executives will be talking about how leading organisations are reimagining the customer and connecting traditional back-office functions to benefit their customers.

Telecoms financial director Van Zyl Botha buys into the customer focus of the summit. He says he is especially excited to hear what Capitec’s Andre du Plessis has to say about reimagining the customer from the perspective of the CFO of a groundbreaking bank.

Monash South Africa director: Human Resources Vinesh Rhagnath commented on the customer-centric theme:

“As we embrace the 4th industrial revolution, the way we see customers and interact with them will drastically change with new digital age. These customers will become ‘digital customers’ and everything will be done through a smartphone and applications. I think what will matter the most is actually the customer experience through such channels. This will ultimately determine a company’s credibility and success!”

Also speaking at the event will be Sanlam CE: Brand Sydney Mbhele who will discuss reimagining the customer: 2019 and beyond from a CMO’s perspective. Oceana Group HR executive Nomaxabiso Teyise will provide the HR perspective.

Business Results Group CEO Nicola Tyler will deliver the closing remarks.
