Taufeeqa Waja has been appointed CFO of Retail and Business Banking at FNB, following almost two years as head of finance and more than a decade of experience in finance roles at Standard Bank and FirstRand.
Taufeeqa has been appointed as the CFO of Retail and Business Banking at FNB after serving as the head of finance for almost two years. Before that, she was the CFO of FirstRand of broader Africa for a year.
Prior to that she was the head of finance of First Rand Africa for almost four and a half years.
Taufeeqa also spent over 11 years in Standard Bank serving in multiple finance positions from 2009.
She holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Witswatersrand.
