Entrepreneurs will benefit from a new incubation programme recently launched in Mitchells Plain.

Silulo Ulutho Technologies, headed up by Luvuyo Rani, has, in partnership with Vodacom, launched an innovative incubation programme for township-based businesses at Watergate Mall in Mitchells Plain. The hub, which will house 18 businesses, will offer connectivity to small businesses and IT services, along with the hiring of offices, boardroom and training rooms.

Ismail Gani, Vodacom Managing Executive for SMME and Indirect Channel, said:

“Our partnership with Silulo is one of several initiatives to empower and grow small businesses. The drive towards the ‘Digital SMME’ is a key initiative of Vodacom. It is critical that big business ensures that our small to medium enterprises are part of the fourth industrial revolution.”

Gani added that the company’s partnership with Silulo goes beyond the Incubation Centre, as the ultimate goal is to empower the SME community towards “digitisation and enhanced productivity”.
