Zuretha Steyl (pictured) has been appointed chief financial officer of LexisNexis South Africa, a provider of content and technology solutions for the legal and professional markets, effective 1 November 2016.
Steyl joins LexisNexis from Adapt IT, where she was in a Group Financial Manager role responsible for the financial reporting and corporate governance division. During this time she developed a breadth of experience in mergers and acquisitions. One of her key achievements was the centralising of the finance function following the amalgamation of 12 companies into one. Prior to this, she was the CFO for the Primedia Out of Home Division, providing strategic insight to both the Chairman and the Board.
Steyl completed her B. Com (Hons), Accounting at the University of Johannesburg and qualified as a CA in 1994. She has also completed a Management Advanced Programme Certificate through Wits University. She brings more than 18 years of experience to her new role.
