Bongani Ngcongo is the chief financial officer at Proconics, a South African engineering firm specialising in agile, multi-discipline projects for critical infrastructure clients. He joined the company in 2018 and brings over two decades of finance experience in the energy and engineering sectors.

Before joining Proconics, Bongani served as financial manager at Masana Petroleum Solutions (2017–2018) and Rio Tinto Management Services (2015–2016). He spent over a decade at Sasol Mining Shared Services.

Bongani holds a BCom Accounting degree from the University of Zululand (2001) and a BCom Honours in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2003). He qualified as a chartered accountant (CA(SA)) through SAICA in 2009. His academic journey began at Ukuthula High School, where he completed Grade 12 in 1998.
