Her career started at PwC South Africa, where she served as an audit clerk and later as an audit manager. She was appointed as the senior group statutory accountant at Sasol in 2007, and briefly worked for Bateman Engineering as a group financial accountant from 2010 until 2011. After that, she joined Tenova, where she stayed for nine years in various financial roles, including FD from 2013 until 2015. She was appointed group head of compliance and internal audit, where she stayed for five more years.
