Dzunani Makgopa started her career at PwC and continued to serve as a senior associate until 2018, when she joined Ekurhuleni Water Care Company (ERWAT) as an associate manager. She was later promoted to interim CFO while serving in a senior manager of financial services role.
In 2022, Dzunani joined the Independent Power Producers Office (IPPO) as the head of finance and corporate services.
She is a qualified chartered accountant with a BCom degree from the University of Witwatersrand and a postgraduate diploma in applied accounting science from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
