El Kope was appointed as Cell C’s CFO on 5 March 2024, after serving as the company’s acting CFO from August 2023.
This comes after she took a year-long sabbatical.
Before this, El was a finance director at Tsebo International for three years, and before that, the CFO at DHL Supply Chain Africa and South Africa. She also worked at The Coca-Cola Company, for both its Central East and West Africa regions.
She started her career as an article clerk at Gobodo Incorporated and finished her finance training at South African Breweries.
El has a BCom Honours degree in accounting.
