Jacques Breytenbach

Jacques Breytenbach is the chief finance officer designate at Tharisa and a fractional CFO at The CFO Centre South Africa.

Before taking on his current roles, Jacques served as a non-executive director at Afrimat and an advisory board member at Marula Mining PLC.

He previously served as the chief financial officer and finance director at Petra Diamonds, where he also held the group finance manager role.

Earlier in his career, he held various finance positions at Anglo American Platinum, including group finance manager, finance manager and accountant.

He started his career gaining experience as a senior accountant at Megchem Holdings, a financial and administrative manager at ZPB Motors, an accountant at Schurmanns Autobody and an articled clerk at Lloyd & Jansen Auditors.

Jacques is a qualified CA(SA) and holds a BCompt honours in accounting and finance and a BCompt in accounting and finance from the Unisa.
