Joanne Tanner has been the group CFO of global technology services business Decision Inc. since April 2022.
Before this, she worked at Tarsus Technology Group, where she started as a group finance executive in 2014 and worked her way up to becoming group CFO in 2019. Prior to that, she was a financial controller at Gemalto, and a head of finance and Worldmark South Africa.
She started her career as an article clerk at Deloitte South Africa, and briefly served as a senior auditor for the firm’s Canadian department in 2007.
Joanne has a BAcc honours degree from the Stellenbosch University, and has taken a data analytics short course from the University of Cape Town, as well as the Royal Bafokeng Holdings’ executive development programme from Wits Business School.
She is also a member of an all-moms water polo team.
