Kagiso was appointed as the City of Ekurhuleni’s group CFO on 30 May 2019 at the age 33, and also serves as the city’s head of supply chain management. He is a member of the South African Institute of Charted Accountants, with a BCompt degree from the University of Limpopo, and a BCom Accounting Honours degree from the University of Johannesburg.
Kagiso joined the city in 2014 as a divisional head of governance and compliance within the finance department. He worked in the office of the Auditor General of South Africa as an assistant audit manager after completing his articles there.
Kagiso has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards for his work as the group CFO of the City of Ekhurhuleni.
